Bedashed with Rain by Candace Miser

Cool green grass bedashed with rain shimmers silver when clouds part.

Sunlight comes to dry the pain that drowned my pure pristine heart.

Diamond drops of rain on grass shine beneath glittering gold cloud.

Looming clouds of sorrow pass just as bright sun has vowed.

A warm kiss of golden sun dries the last of my cold tears.

What’s done is finally done, light illuminates my fears.
